Farming has always been about community

Back in the day there were thrashing parties in the fall to help everyone get their crops in before the winter. Farmers worked together and went from farm to farm bringing their machinery and families to get the work done.

When one neighbor was in need, everyone pitched in, whether it was helping with chores, lending hands or machinery, or even just dropping off a meal.

It's a farming tradition we're proud to carry on at Prairieland Dairy.

We are honored to have been part of the community for four generations and consider it our responsibility to give back to the community that has given us so much. That is one reason Prairieland Dairy donated over 200 cases of milk to the Lincoln Food Bank in the month of February alone. It's about neighbors helping neighbors.
